Comments

  1. RHS says:

Stupid question: Why do precinct numbers now have decimals in them? 1.1, 2.1, 8.2, 8.3 etc.

  2. Tom Sullivan says:

The president gets it: Barack Obama is a smart dude. Democrats should listen to him.

“[W]e know how to win national elections, but all too often, it’s during these midterms where we end up getting ourselves into trouble, because I guess we don’t think it’s sexy enough. But the fact of the matter is, is that that’s where so much of the action is.”

    Get in the game, people.

  3. Tom Sullivan says:

The decimals were added because sometimes precincts get split or (rarely) go away. Rather than renumber them all or insert new (higher) numbers beside lower ones, the Board of Elections will add decimals, thus 33.2, 33.3, etc.

  4. RHS says:

Thanks. Following election returns seems to have gotten a bit more complicated in recent years.

  5. N.C.Rohan says:

The “handy tool” didn’t tell me which precinct I am in.

  6. Jeff Mclarty says:

    Thanks for the info.
Anybody know anything solid about this guy Ruehl?

  7. Gordon Smith says:

    Rohan,

After you enter your info and hit Search, another screen comes up, and the searched name is at the bottom. Click your name, and WaLa.

  8. N.C.Rohan says:

Duh, thank you. Sometimes self-explanatory refuses to talk to me.
