Sorry for being OT, but, can anyone explain to me the sanity of Asheville paying for the US Cellular sign to be put on the Civic center? If the corporation can afford the purchase, can’t they afford their own sign? What other business in town did Asheville agree to build signs for? So, as a citizen who does not approve of the sale, they still have to pay for it? That’s as much crazy talk as Asheville not including free ads for the city as part of the deal.
Is the whole world upside down? I think I lost my compass, because I can’t make sense of the directions.
