Ah, what could be more better for Memorial Day weekend than hours and hours of the art of computer maintenance (without the Zen)?
Hearing about Hopper made me cry out in shock.

Gordon, am I not welcome here? Is there a protocol for posting comments on this site I have abused? Just because a resident of AVL believes you have taken a misguided position on an issue likely to have a heavy impact on quality of life in our community is that justification for you to get all pissy. You want me to cease contributing here don’t be sly, say so directly. I’ll be deeply disappointed but it’s your site and you can ban whomever you like.

You’re entirely welcome. I responded quite thoroughly in the previous thread, but it seems important to you to bring it to this thread as well. That’s all well and good, but if you’d like to be persuasive, I’m advising you to continue to present new information or to contact me personally. Simply repeating your dissatisfaction is not persuasive, and my guess is that you’d prefer to persuade.
I appreciate your chiming in, and I believe your point of view is shared by others.
