I can’t hear this song without thinking of “Pull My Strings” by the Dead Kennedys.

Now, that was music. The Ramones, The Clash, The Kinks…this crap these damned kids are listening to today — I tell ya.
Oh — and for those too young to remember what we are talking about (“Mommy, what’s a Shirona?”) My Shirona is widely credited as the song that killed disco.

I used to hear that “it’s just noise!” complaint a lot. But then, I used to listen to datacassettes.
