Bought and Paid For
By“It’s our democracy. We bought it, we paid for it, and we’re going to keep it.” – Vote Murray Hill Incorporated for Congress! Murray Hill, Inc. adds,
“Until now,†Murray Hill Inc. said in a statement, “corporate interests had to rely on campaign contributions and influence peddling to achieve their goals in Washington. But thanks to an enlightened Supreme Court, now we can eliminate the middle-man and run for office ourselves.â€
Murray Hill, Inc. wants to run in the Republican congressional primary in Maryland’s 8th district. “Clearly, I don’t know how much more Republican a corporation can be,” Murray Hill Inc., designated human spokesperson, Eric Hensal, told Thom Hartmann in an interview here.

Brilliant.
It would be great to get a corporate person in every Congressional race in the nation this year.

Walmart & Family Dollar in 2012! They could campaign for “debt forgiveness†in return for increased imports from China. During the campaign they could use the words “family values†to get conservative’s votes.
I can see the TV ads. “…this ad was paid for by the committee to elect Walmart/Family Dollar, where we’ve rolled back prices on thousands of items. Stop in today to purchase your campaign stickers and yard signs at our low, low pricesâ€.
