Walk Organizer here – thanks for your interest in this great community event. It is being held on Saturday April 24th in downtown Asheville.

We are currently looking for men to take part in the promotional video – wearing the red heels and doing a dance to “Walk Like a Man.”

We also “challenged” the community college baseball team, some cops, the local GE workers group, radio hosts, etc… The baseball team in uniform is a big hit.

Thank you for your support Gentlemen. If this could become a race of any kind, invest in a pair of ballroom dance shoes. You can run in them. Steel support and aligned with leg bone. Top quality is pricey as is all sports equipment, for one day, try the capezio’s with a wide heel. You’ll thank me at the end of the day. Hope the event has interest and goes.

I’ll give it a try, I don’t run too fast in running shoes but maybe stilettos will give me a boost. Can I sing Kellie Pickler’s “Red High Heels” while I run/walk/limp? “You can watch me walk if you want to, want to . . . I am about to show you just how missing me feels, in my red high heels”

To clarify, that would be one per year. We (I’m on the board) invited all elected’s, from Congress down to Register of Deeds, both years. Of course, whether he ever saw it or not I don’t have a clue.

But I hope this event goes well. In just two years we went from about 100 men to almost 200 this year and raised a bunch of cash.

“stuffy old Henderson County”. That, Muller, is deeply offensive and ageist. Just wait till next time you show your face at the Opportunity House (the big room, behind the bingo and quilting rooms.)
