I’m a Big Fan of Christmas on Friday
By
On our way out of Avatar 3D last night, Rachael and I realized we haven’t planned a thing for the weekend. What a liberating thing, we decided. All the Christmas prep and anticipation culminated in an excellent day full of comfort and joy. Now it’s the weekend, and we don’t have anything burning to take care of. So it’s time to peruse the internets before heading back up to the wilds of Weaverville for more hanging out at the Macy Compound.

News Writer at A World of Progress shares “some of [her] favorite rude and insulting Web sites. If your sensibilities are sensitive — turn away now. Go back. Danger lurks. Otherwise, have some guilty pleasure.”
I hope y’all’s Boxing Day is full of fun.

Diogenes,
Just be content to know that there are floats. Lots of them.
Cheers,

Thanks for the link to NW at A World of Progress, Gordon. My friend the News Writer is definitely special and I am very happy to see her work being picked up locally in Asheville.

Apparently, the “Macy Compound” is/was right between the Stadium and the US Special Forces camp in Ban Me Thuot, Vietnam.
