A relative visiting over Thanksgiving wanted to visit Warren Wilson College from Weaverville. We tried but ended the effort when it was impossible to sort out the trip. Given Asheville's green aspirations, sustainability goals and progressive reputation it seems unfortunate, to say the least, that public transportation is unreliable, unavailable and/or unaffordable. Traffic over the holidays was mean, getting around town, to town for restaurants and shopping was a struggle. Please Gordon, get on it! Public transportation in Asheville sucks.
