The Councilman Elect

I slept eleven hours last night. It’s the first time in years I can remember such a lengthy slumber. After a ten-month campaign and a humdinger of an election night party, I’m going to recuse myself from blogging for a few days.
I’ll be catching up on things at work and then rolling out for a few days of vacation sans internet.
Watch this space, however, as I figure out how this blog will fit in to my new role. I’m accepting all suggestions.
Esther, Cecil, and I will be sworn in on December 8th at 5pm. There will be some sort of party afterwards. More as I figure it out.
Thanks again for all your support, time, money, and votes. We’re going to get a lot done.
