Chris Peterson, the principal $$$ backer of the first fun-packed letter about me (though the next campaign financial report should prove interesting) offered a particularly thoughtful question at the aforementioned CIBO lunch. He wanted Gordon and me to explain the difference between "progressive and socialist." Given the abysmal spelling on the BOE documents Peterson filed, I'm guessing he doesn't own a dictionary. But I could be wrong. Outmoded rhetoric and clumsy tactics from the Southern Fried Right clearly failed to resonate with a majority of voters this time around. Perhaps they'll learn from it, but I sincerely doubt it.
