Council Race Open Thread
BySince I’ve taken myself out of the business of blogging about Council candidates in the run-up to the big election, I’m counting on y’all to share your info, opinions, forecasts, and suggestions. Here’s some fun facts to prime the pump:
Kelly Miller had his kickoff party at Windows on the Park last night. Esther Manheimer mailed a glossy to lots of folks about her Barley’s meet and greet next week. Cecil Bothwell ran a canvass in Montford last weekend. Jay Neal Jackson had his kickoff party on The Block this past Saturday. My campaign canvassed neighborhoods along Charlotte St on Sunday followed by a phone bank Tuesday night, and I’ll be having a neighborhood event Thursday evening 7-8pm at Rosebud Video. Jenny Bowen sent an email to lots of folks with policy positions that’ll become more public when her website is up. Carl Mumpower doesn’t appear to be campaigning.

I got the glossy Manheimer. Three was a waste of a few cents.
