Sunday Morning Music
ByEverywhere I’ve gone since Thursday night, I’ve heard Michael Jackson tunes. In restaurants, pouring out of car windows, up and down the radio dial, even from Arratik’s massive Plundercast attack – the King of Pop is being remembered.
So much so, in fact, that I’m not putting any here, but feel free to leave your own links to MJ in the comments. This morning I’m in the mood for The Hold Steady:
And after the jump you can find Mike Doughty singing The Gambler.

Aww, thanks for giving the plundercast some love. For the record, I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful of MJ’s music or memory – sometimes you can find a hidden beauty through the magic of “creative playback”. (I’m particularly proud of the last eight minutes of the show, which was isolated and made into its own track – “been”)

Thanks… I’m always made a bit happier whenever Mike Doughty is around.
