Kudos to Susan Fisher for her decision - after supporting the alternative energy bill through most of the process - to be one of two Democrats to vote against it when it was up for a final vote. As Chris Fitzsimon of NC Policy Watch pointed out, Fisher and the other Democrat who voted no (Durham's Paul Leubke) were the only ones in the Democratic caucus who had received no money from utility PACs during the previous election cycle.
