Was at the Executive Committee for the WNCA, so I couldn’t make it. Could someone post a review of the happenings in the comments?

We had a great crowd there. Upwards of a hundred folks. The campaign served up pizza to all comers.
David Roat, Campaign Manager, started the speechifying.
Veronika Gunter, Communications Director, introduced me.
I spoke for about ten minutes about who I am, why I’m running, and the issues I’m running on.
Lindsey Simerly, Field Director, urged everyone to get signed up to offer their money or time to the campaign.
We signed up a ton of volunteers and raised a lot of money.
I don’t know that any city council candidate has ever had a better attended event this far out from the election.
