Friday Open Thread: What’s Happening?
ByI don’t know. For some reason that post slug reminds me of the time when Raj, Dwayne and Rerun were paid by shady people to get a bootleg recording of a Doobie Brothers concert, which reminds me that I forgot to put my Roger Daltrey cape on before I left the house, which also reminds me that Quadrophenia is like one of the worst movies ever made, up there with Bedtime for Bonzo, which reminds me that Cheeta, the chimp who starred in the Tarzan movies, is still alive and well and living in Palm Springs, which is where I’m going to be spending the night before hitting Day Three of Coachella in April… which all reminds me that I think I may have consumed way too much NyQuil last night. Ugh.
Enough of my yakkin’. It’s your turn.

Burning it up in teh woodstove, sorry. This one is closer to 18″ anyway. My neighbor runs a little saw mill and has loads of locust for posts. I’ll ask him about price if I see him today. Otherwise I’ll check for you when i get back from Florida Monday.

Having achieved a critical mass on coffee and chocolate, I will now repair to Moog Music to implement a configuration change on all end users’ backup program.
Here’s hoping I never have to manage computers in a workgroup again. Active Directory, I loves you man.

Just the other day, in the news mag The Week, an apparent expose of Cheeta:
