Welcome back Hooligans. Aloha nui loa to the first Hawaiian president in US history.
The new look is just fine. The header is cool. Now the small complaints. Can you up the type size a notch and make the comments link include the word comments instead of just the number?
Maybe the worst oath of office ever – Thanks to Bush appointee – John Roberts for screwing it up. The speech was moving. I feel proud to be an American. Wow, we can all say we survived Bush – but let’s remember the thousands of humans and animials that did not.
Something is right with this day. For years now, something has been wrong and amiss, but today, something feels very natural and right. I hope that above all, complacency, in all of its forms, will be vanquished. Dorky, and touchy feeley, but this is what I, and many others I imagine, hope to see happen.
“An early indication of greater transparency from the federal government can be seen at the new White House web site.
According to Jason Kottke, the Bush administration set more than 2,400 rules to prevent search engines from indexing certain material on the site. The new Obama site eliminates nearly all of these rules.”
“I do not see that President Obama has the maturity and experience and values necessary to guide America to a good place,” Mumpower said. “I am very concerned about the future of our country and do not share other people’s optimism that the new president and his administration are going to be able to turn things in a better direction.”
You read that right – the man who called the NRCC a “bunch of stinkerpoos” is calling someone else immature.
My only regret was Rick Warren being a part of it. I refused to watch the screen at all when he was there — and if a lady wasn’t present I would have mooned the close-minded SOB. That was far worst than John Steven’s oath screw up!

The day is moving very slowly. Has anyone seen any reports of last minute mischief from the departing prez?

Looking at your header, particularly the left hand side, makes me feel like I have the spins.

I wish I could say I was shocked at Mumpower’s grumblings but i am not. Speaking of Mum, who are we going to back to replace him on the city council?
