Politico: Mumpower’s “glasses” among worst campaign ads
ByPolitico.com didn’t show Hot Carl much love in this recent post, running down their picks for the top ten worst campaign ads of the season:
5. Carl Mumpower (R-N.C.) “Glasses.†Mumpower, an eerily sedate self-described “independent†Republican, can’t seem to decide if he wants his glasses on or off. It’s mesmerizing.
Here it is again, in case you missed it the first time around (and it’ll have to do, as Mumpower isn’t doing any more advertising).
(I was wondering why this suddenly ended up getting 27,000+ views on YouTube…)

All he needed to do is end that Ad with “It puts the lotion in the basket, or it gets the hose” and it would’ve been perfect.

We considered it…but Carl was on a budget, so we only had 30 seconds.
And It’s my belief that the only bad commercials are the ones that don’t get noticed. Personally, I loved the one with the chick picking up dog shit. Wish I had thought of it.
