Barack Obamarama at Orange Peel

The inimitable Jason Bugg pointed us to this exciting night at the Orange Peel. On April 17th, only about 3 weeks before our big primary, Bela Fleck and Arrested Development will headline an Obama event at 8pm. Five dollars gets you in the door, but you’ll definitely want to get your tickets early for this one. I’m guessing the Hillary! group will be meeting at the Atlanta Bread Company the same night. Choices, choices.
The WNC For Obama group has been organizing up a storm in these parts since last September, so it’s not surprising to see an event as hip as this one happen. The national Obama organizers have come to town as well, with an office on Merrimon near the Bojangles. Obama’s going to kill it out here.

I can’t speak for the other two people I know, but I fell off of the Gravel Train a while ago.
It is nice to see that he’s changed lances in his ongoing struggle against windmills, though.
