Here in the hills you never see an entire train, they're always going around a curve or over a hill. I'm easily entertained. I used to live not far from a business where you could buy all of this in one stop: gasoline, groceries, camping supplies, hard liquor, beer & wine,and a rifle or hand gun,and ammo! It only took about 30 minutes to get cleared to buy the hand gun because of the database online now for gun dealers. I'm not a gun fancier (had my fill of them in the Army), but I must say there are less muggings and robberies in Arizona because the crooks never know who is armed, and a lot of westerners ARE. Responsibly too I must say. It is fairly easy to get a concealed carry permit if you take a course on gun laws and safety and pass a background check. And anyone can carry a rifle or a holstered pistol as long as they are in plain view. Personally, I don't like to see them displayed, but that's the way they do things out there. Walmart? Has the cheapest prices on hard liquor. :) Another thing about the west, or Arizona anyway. In Nebraska everyone said we were in the "mid-west" so when we got to Wyoming and Montana (and the scenery and the lack of people) I felt truly in the "wild west."
