Republicans and 34 wrongheaded Dems want Bush and his telecom companies to get immunity from investigation and prosecution for spying on American citizens. Heath Shuler got on the side of extending the Act. I don't know where he stands on telecom immunity today, but I hope to know tomorrow. Really, if you haven't already done it, write the Congressman. He needs to know where his constituents stand.
