I have met one of these guys Shawn Stephens. They were simply doing a job for a Turner network affiliate Corporation the cartoon network.
They called CNN at 9 a.m. in the morning and told them what was up. No wonder these guys made a “joke” of the whole thing. The news media was the problem here. They even offered to meet CNN representatives and remove the devices themselves at 9 a.m. the story ran the whole day.
I guess there was more money in running it as a TERRORIST EVENT for the day than stopping the hysteria.
If CNN and Turner had to pay $2 million to correct it that’s OK with me.
These young entrepreneurs however did nothing wrong. I believe the courts agree.
