Chad Nesbitt Advocates Discrimination
By
{Click the pic for larger version}
Somebody just told Chad Nesbitt that a bill mirroring the federal Non-Employee Discrimination Act (currently working it’s way through Congress and actively opposed by Stompers’ issue-ally Heath Shuler) has been introduced in our NC House and Senate by Susan Fisher and Martin Nesbitt.
Chad announces the gravity:
“We have been researching two groups that are trying to destroy our children’s minds and overthrow Christianity in America as we know it. Below is the story and it is the strongest message we have ever given on this website.”
Then The Chad launches an unhinged, lurching attack on the fabric of reality by:
1. Attacking his stepfather, Senator Martin Nesbitt.
2. Displaying his ignorance of sexuality issues (unless they’re on display in the stepdaddy stuff and I’m missing it).
3. Conflating homosexuality with child-molestation.
4. Generalizing a west coast parade onto the whole of gay America.
5. Claiming that non-discrimination pushes the “homosexual agenda”.
6. Saying, “for a gay person to push their sexuality on anyone, especially our children, is wrong.” without noting the irony in pushing his own views of sexuality.
7. Calling gay people “evil”.
8. Conflating the Democratic Party with child molestation.
9. Remembering the castration guys from Haywood County and thinking that it’s somehow linked to employee non-discrimination in the workplace.
10. Comparing homosexuality to “intimidating, beating up, and killing someone”.
Thunder Pig links approvingly to the homophobic hostility on display at Carolina Stompers. Chad, completely off the deep end by the end of the post, says, “Carolina Stompers plans to take this issue on full force. The future of our children and Christian morality are at stake. If organizations like these succeed, lawmakers will make it a hate crime to teach the word of God.”
In a comment thread over at Thunder Pig, The Chad takes his hysterics to a whole new level:
“From Chad Nesbitt
To Gordon SmithYou like that Folsum Street Fair stuff don’t you.
You like the fact that people are haveing sex in front of children don’t you.
You like those baby Jesus dildos don’t you.
Your stupid arguments to support this kind of crap is the way we keep winning!
We showed NC how the Democrats are hipocrits and liers durring the Vance Aycock Dinner and WE WON!
We showed Buncombe County how crazy this town has gotten under liberal leadership and we defeated your wacked out nut job city council canidate. “Priceless”
WON AGAIN!BRING IT ON! LETS DEBATE YOUR GAY CRAP IN PUBLIC! PLEASE, OH PLEASE, OH PLEASE! Your team against mine!
Let the media cover it all!
I’m serious.Keep it up! Like I told you and your little friend Peck. You guy’s just make our job a lot easier.
Chad Nesbitt”
I accidentally saw Chad Nesbitt on URTV with Don Yelton on Monday night. They were sitting beneath a Carolina Stompers banner jawing about the Democrat party while Don perused the Asheville Citizen-Times. Chad talked about how someone in drag would be teaching high school classes. He went on to confuse transsexuals with transvestites. Don Yelton wondered aloud at the wisdom of any gay or lesbian who would think to fight for their civil rights, “Why would you want to work for someone that detested you?” (funny but tangential link here)
Don Yelton, bless his heart, doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about. Chad, on the other hand, believes that his “work” will convince folks that homosexuals and Democrats are evil pedophiles. Chad’s a real menace to society with a mission to spread disinformation and slander, to vilify good people, and to fulfill his narcissistic need to be The Man.
I’d like to encourage Hooligans to take the time to write a letter to the editor exposing Nesbitt’s tactics and character. Alternately, you could write a really nice letter about how much gay people will appreciate the Employee Non-Discrimination Act.

Why does supporting gays, lesbians, transgendered and bisexuals mean that we support sex with children? Last I heard the most likely to molest a child is a married heterosexual male.
Hey Chad, is that why you want every gay man to be assumed to be a child molester? So that heterosexual men can continue to molest children unsuspected?
And why is supporting private gay consensual sexual activity among adults somehow assumed to be supporting molestation and sex between humans and animals?
Where do these homophobes come up with this stuff?

well i have been doing my part to rip apart the fabric of democracy and destroy the sacred institution of marriage for many years now (since adultery and divorce have barely made a dent). My gay agenda is undermined by the sneaky fact that I and, well, every other gay person I have ever known were born of and raised by heterosexuals.
really, I am more bewildered every day by Fear of Gay rhetoric that is so blatantly misled and brazenly illogical it can move so many idiots to get off their asses and use poor grammar and spelling to work for forbidding me my human rights.

Mr. Nesbitt’s atrocious spelling, punctuation and grammar only serve to highlight his ignorance. Does anyone really take this guy seriously?

You should be kinder to Mr. Nesbitt. After all, people most vehemently against the “gay agenda” are usually closeted homosexuals themselves.
Can you imagine the strain on poor Chad, if he is gay, as he struggles between self-hate and his desire to be true to himself? No wonder he writes such hateful material! It is merely a reflection of the battle going on within his soul.
I have no way of knowing Mr. Nesbitt’s sexual inclinations. However, Chad, if you are reading this: It’s okay to be gay!
Your family will still love you – and you won’t have to give up your conservative ideology. People who reject you for enjoying the touch of a man are not real friends.
I suggest this link with information on coming out of the closet and transitioning to an openly gay lifestyle.
On a personal note: My brother is gay. Coming out to our very Catholic family was difficult for him. He was especialy scared of the effect the news would have on my father.
I’m happy to report that in the end, love trumped prejudice. Not only did my dad come to accept who my brother is – but my brother’s boyfriend now comes to family gatherings. (He’s as much a member of the family as my brother-in-law.)
So, Chad, if you are gay, don’t despair. You can be loved for who you are – and be much happier in the process.

Dammit- the I forgot a close-bracket and messed up the formatting on my last comment. It even dumped a whole paragraph.
Hey Arratik – can you fix it?

Fixed.
FYI, all the “a” tag’s “title” attribute does is add alternate text to the hyperlink when you hover over it with your mouse. That’s why most of that paragraph was “dumped”.
I’m still working on a way to get basic HTML editing working properly in the comments without breaking the site. If any WP developer types could help me out with this, Paul will appreciate it!

During my seven years in SF, I never missed the Folsom Street Fair. What a blast! Leather and SM have never been my cup of tea, but the outrageous and tongue in cheek (sometimes literally) nature of the event was truly something to behold.
I try to stay abreast of all of the latest perversions and “gay crap” but I’ve never heard of or seen a baby Jesus dildo. I’m guessing it’s a closeted conservative christian republican fetish item. I wonder where Chad got his?
I know that hatred has become the most cherished “family value” for the winger crowd, but I thought that us fags were getting a break this cycle and that all of the eliminationist rhetoric was being directed toward the Hispanics. Maybe the Stompers didn’t get the memo.
Misty water-colored memories…

There’s no sound on this clip, but this footage from the first San Francisco Pride parade in 1970 ought to cause a good deal of people to sell all of their Black Sabbath albums…

I would suggest that some folks (not naming names…ahem…) might consider taking some of the tests at Project Implicit, where you can test your subconscious preferences in the areas of politics, race, sexuality, etc.
It’s kind of eye opening…
I did a few demos and found that I seem to have no marked preference for Democrats over Republicans (huh??!); a moderate preference for African Americans over whites; no preference for Christians over Muslims; and a moderate preference for gay people over straight people.
Hmmmm.

Drama Queen: I did a quick Google search, and very surprisingly, did not find such a product.
I’ve seen GW Bush butt-plugs, panties made of pasta, and nipple claps shaped like spiders – but no Jesus-themed dildo.
Of course, I’m heterosexual – so according to potentially-closeted homophobes, I may be too pure to know where to look.
Perhaps this is an under-served market?

Sounds like a fundraising oppourtunity for the Stompers…very easy to justify too, just say “buy the baby Jesus dildo, to keep it out of the profane hands of the Gays…while at the same time promote deep exploration of your own Christian self.”

If someone uses a baby Jesus dildo does that mean that their orgasms will be prone to hysterics and hyperbole.
I’d like to take this time to pray for a nuclear holocaust. It’s people on both sides of the political spectrum that make me wish we all were dead. I want us all to die in front of our children just so they can see how black our blood is as it all oozes out of the cancerous boils on our bodies, then with our last words we can mumble to little junior “do better than we did.”, and they won’t.
The experiment is over. Will the last idiot alive turn the lights off on the way out.

I haven’t thought about this in almost 30 years – but I’ve SEEN a Jesus dildo. I was visiting a girl I was dating in college, in Springfield Missouri, back in 1979. We were in her dorm room, and her roommate, a local girl, was from a hard-core old school Baptist family. (They didn’t approve of her going to college.)
We were leaving to go to dinner, and as I went out the door, I saw on her dresser a little shrine. Under a big framed picture of Jesus was this plastic statue, the sort that you’d see on the dash of a car. Only this was longer, and perfectly smooth, and Jesus’s head was shaped like, well, you know.
I remember thinking, “If she thinks that doesn’t look like exactly what it really is, she’s a little naive.” I asked my date about it that night, & she said, “Yeah, I’ve told her to put it away, but she thinks it’s fooling everybody.”
This was almost 30 years ago, in the (Midwestern) Bible belt. If they existed then, they exist now.

In a move that is sure to cause Chad’s mind to present a blue-screen-of-death-I-can-not-commute-this,
here a link to a Christian Church that is saying that ENDA does not go far enough, because it does not protect Trans-gendered individuals.

My G-d in heaven, people actually caring for one another! What’s next, giving up all our stuff and living in loving community? Or worse, Health Care for All! The Heathens most be stopped!

So in Chad’s “logic” the only thing that is stopping him from having sex with another man is that he chooses not too? (assuming– and it’s a big assumption– that there is a man out there that would indulge him). So if people are born rapists, and pedophiles, and etc. you would think that he would be in favor of abortion? Or is what Chad is really saying is that he is in favor of allowing pedophiles and rapists to rape our children and defenseless women?
