For a moment, I though it was current and he wanted to get to the bottom of his own Florida suicide/murder scandal!!! What emails, I wondered? I want those emails, too!
I posted it in large part because McHenry is an obsequious nit, and I thought this video illustrates that. But it also seems to conflate so many Republican scandals into one shameless McHenry clip.
This is a man who’s unwilling to assign any blame to Mark Foley for sexually harassing teenagers and young interns, who’s prepared to ignore the most unprincipled behavior in efforts to attack Democrats.
Where is he – on the set of the Batman TV series? Why are all the buildings tilted at a 15 degree angle? Was that intentional on the part of the CNN people, or is it some uncanny psionic effect that McHenry has on camera equipment?
This does remind us of why Pat has to go. Even if he wasn’t corrupt or hypocritical or a gangster, or whatever the hell he is . . . he’s just a huge pain in the ass in DC giving the right wing media outrageous talking points that some of them actually use. Not in this case, perhaps, but he’s definitely the go-to guy for a negative quote and no one cares that he’s a liar and a joke. They’re just happy to get a juicy quote.
But it IS entertaining watching him make a total ass out of himself. I have to say we’ll miss this level of asininity.
