Highlight the fact that deinstitutionalization and reduction of services in the community lead to an ever greater burden upon law enforcement. I still don't have the stomach for phone calls although I'm gearing up for it. I met a bunch of people at the Burke County Convention who were retired from the mental health field. (I'm not sure there was anyone there who wasn't retired or about to retire . . .) So, I'm going to contact them. Maybe they will feel freer to fight than the currently employed . . .
