Weepy Boehner Wets the Floor

House Minority Leader, John Boehner was really, really sad today. He was sad about the debate about to take place on the floor of the House. Think Progress: “Boehner said that escalation opponents are taking the “bait” of “al Qaeda and terrorist sympathizers” by using Iraq to “divide us here at home.”

Boehner must have been letting his man-tears fall because “leading conservative Reps. John Shadegg (R-AZ) and Peter Hoekstra (R-MI) inform their allies: “The debate should not be about the surge or its details. This debate should not even be about the Iraq war to date, mistakes that have been made, or whether we can, or cannot, win militarily.” Shadegg and Hoekstra warn, if conservatives are forced to debate “the surge or the current situation in Iraq, we lose.”

Maybe he’s crying because Bush is letting the Muslims immigrate and steal our jobs!

Those fat tears could be for all the Iraqi Goat Herders and Sheep Tenders mentioned by Republican Lynn Westmoreland, “Some people from the other side seem to believe that if we pull out of Iraq, the Iraqi people are going to go back to tending sheep and herding goats,”

Congressman Boehner, Hooligans offer you a shoulder to cry on. We know how hard it must be to lie every day, to peddle unimaginable bullshit onto an ungrateful nation. We’re here for you. Come home, Boehner, we’re your port in the storm.
