Progressive Bloggers Go To Raleigh
ByJerry Meek, recently reelected Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party, invited a gaggle of NC progressive bloggers to Raleigh Saturday for a conference/bull session. Representative Brad Miller (D-NC13), Matt Stoller (MyDD), and Tim Cullen (Dodd for President) were also in attendance.
Today’s too busy for posting anything of quality, so I’m going to refer you to those who’ve already made their reports. I’ll have some pictures up before the week’s out.

Those of you from Boone or that region: Click on Jerry Williamson. He writes for Watauga Watch and they really kick ass up there.
Outnumbered by 2000 Rs and they consistently win almost every race on the ballot.
They even defeated Virginia Foxx in her own district. (She’s the one who got a face-lift the week she voted no for Katrina relief; she’s the one co-sponsoring defense of marriage bullshit; she’s the other congresswhore grabbing bush for a kiss last week . . . I’m ramping up, need to go take my meds.

Good to meet you too, Matt.
And Jerry Williamson, I’m sorry we didn’t get to talk, but I hope to spend more time with you at the next one.
